What type of Tours are offered?

Tours are storytelling adventures in downtown Riverside. The Tours may consist of haunted happenings or horror tales. No two Tours are alike and they change every year. Tours are rated based on scare-factor and subject matter for your convenience.  

Are Tours suitable for children?

Yes. Parental Guidance is suggested but some Tours are suitable for children.

Do children need a ticket?

Yes, all souls are required to have a ticket.

When are the Tours?

Tours are Friday and Saturday night on the designated dates each year. Tours begin at 6pm and new Tours leave promptly every 20 minutes thereafter.

Can I have a Private Tour or Group Tour?

Yes. Please contact our office in advance to arrange.

How long do the Tours take?

Tours may take 45 minutes to an hour and a half. Tour length may vary from tour to tour depending on walking distance and the pace of the tour group. All Tours will be treated to four stories of about 10-20 minutes each on their Walk.

What is the walking distance of the Tour?

Walking distance varies by Tour. It can range to a ¼ mile up to a mile.

Do you offer discounts?

Yes. Discounts are available when you purchase your tickets in advance by the published “early” date. Group discounts are also available. Discounts can not be combined.

Is there free parking available?

Yes. There are several public parking lots/garages in Riverside that are free after 5pm and on weekends.

Are Tours ADA accessible?

Each year there is a minimum of one ADA accessible tour available. Please review the Tour descriptions to identify those tours.

Where can I buy tickets?

You can purchase tickets online at or out the Ticket Booth at the event located at the corner of University and Main Street.

Do I need to buy tickets in advance?

While not required, it is encouraged as several Tours and popular tour times do sell out in advance.

How much are tickets?

$15 for adults and children of all ages before any available discounts.

Where does the Tour start?

Tours start on the Main Street Pedestrian Mall in the 3800 block (Culver Center of the Arts area)

What do I do if I miss my Tour time?

Tours leave promptly on time. If you miss your tour time you may visit the ticket booth to see if they can accommodate you on a later tour. Accommodations are not guaranteed. No refunds will be given.

What is your refund policy?

No Refunds.

Is photo or video allowed?

Photos and Video are not allowed on the Ghost Walk Tours but are permitted on the Main Street Mall and at the Carnival.

Can I bring a stroller?

Strollers may not be permitted on most tours. No security is made available. Bring at your own risk.

2019: Strollers permitted on Wild Adventure Tour only.

Do you have any free activities?

Yes. There is free live entertainment on the Main Street Pedestrian Mall.

Where is the Carnival?

The Carnival is located on the 3700 block of the Main Street Pedestrian Mall.

What’s available at the Carnival?

The Carnival will have kids’ carnival games, fun food vendors, boo-tiques, and live entertainment.

Do I need a ticket to get into the Carnival?

To enter the Carnival area is free. Carnival game tickets start at $0.50 per game.

Do you have a costume contest?

Yes, each night of the event we have a free kids’ costume contest. Please see the entertainment schedule for details.

Are pets allowed?

Many pets have visited the Main Street Pedestrian Mall on Ghost Walk weekend, however is is not advisable to take them on a Tour.
